It also has various facial rehabilitation programs and programs that can be modified to suit the professional's therapeutic needs.
Ami Pro has the exclusive special “Action Now” function that allows stimulation only when the operator or patient so desires.
By pressing the «Action now» button on the device, it is possible to coordinate muscle activation with the voluntary swallowing of the patient, effectively becoming an autofeedback system.

INDICATIONS:
The Globus Ami Pro neuromuscular electrostimulator is a device for treating dysphagia by promoting muscle trophism and improving proprioceptive neuromuscular sensitivity with the aim of re-educating the muscles involved during swallowing.
This equipment is a non-invasive neuromuscular electrostimulation system that acts by means of a square wave, respecting the guidelines of the main scientific evidence currently available in the scientific literature.
The use of this device is restricted to authorized medical or health personnel (physiotherapists, speech therapists) or to the user if he / she has a medical prescription.

PROGRAMS:
Dysphagia 1 - 3 programs: The parameters are fixed, not variable.
Dysphagia 2 - 36 programs: With fixed and non-adjustable parameters, divided into different types of work cycles (work time-rest time ratio).
Dysphagia 3 - 5 programs: The Dysphagia 3 area contains the Action Now programs.
These programs are characterized by the fact that each contraction begins only after the user holds down the * button.
ACTION NOW programs are particularly useful for associating and synchronizing electrical stimulation with voluntary action.
