AMI LIFE is a non-invasive neuromuscular electrostimulation system (NMES) which acts by means of a square wave, respecting the guidelines of the main scientific evidence currently available in the scientific literature.
It includes 3 stimulation programs with motor, sensorimotor and sensory goals and a facial rehabilitation program.

INDICATIONS:
The use of this waveform is indicated for treatments on the front of the neck and face.
This waveform is used for the prevention of atrophy and for the rehabilitation of the musculature involved in swallowing in the treatment of dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) of any etiology, except mechanical causes which may require surgery (for example, tumors obstructive).
Some causes of dysphagia in which it is possible to intervene are: neurological and muscular pathologies, important cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, respiratory diseases with swallowing complications, iatrogenic pathologies, radiation fibrosis / stenosis, stroke, intubation injuries or birth-related anoxic injuries head or neck trauma.
The intended use of the device is aimed at the muscular re-education of the muscles involved in swallowing through the application of electrostimulation with a biphasic, symmetrical and square waveform applied by means of surface electrodes.
The use of this device is reserved to authorized medical or healthcare personnel (physiotherapists, speech therapists) or to the user if provided with a medical prescription.
