National Geographic 8-24×50 porro prism binoculars are equipped with an interesting zoom function, which makes the variation of the magnification on the two eyepieces synchronous. This variation in distance between the two optical groups generates different and variable magnifications, making the binoculars suitable for a multitude of applications, from bird watching to more demanding naturalistic observations.

The Porro prism optical design, in which the objective is off-center with respect to the eyepiece, provides greater depth perception and a large field of view.

The anti-reflection treatment on all external and internal optical surfaces guarantees very high light transmission, optimizing color fidelity and contrast.

The large diameter of the objectives (50 mm) allows enough light to be captured even for twilight observations. For those who want to mount the binoculars on a tripod for an even steadier and sharper observation, the photographic thread adapter is also included.
